During instances of construction, unsafe roadways and severe weather, St. Albert Transit buses cannot always safely access all bus stops in all neighbourhoods. Detours are initiated to reduce the chances of buses operating on unsafe or unstable roadways.

During instances of severe weather, St. Albert Transit buses cannot always safely access all bus stops in all neighbourhoods. Severe weather detours are initiated to reduce the chances of buses operating on unsafe or unstable roadways.
During incidents of severe snowfall or freezing rain, buses may not serve stops identified with Snow Detour signage. When severe weather detours are declared by St. Albert Transit, customers are requested to board at locations identified by Temporary Severe Weather Bus Stop signage.
There are three ways to check if your stop is affected by severe weather detours:
